oh, interesting. I didn't see that. He may have been a non-payer, of course.

I have to say, despite the crack on the neck I'm happy with it. Good neck for my hands, great sound. Which is good because it looks like it's staying with me, since I paid by bank transfer and there's no way I can get any money back from the vendor. I changed the strings and gave headstock a bit of gentle pressure, and no opening of the crack. If it stays with me long term then I'll probably refinish to black. This is also the only M70 I've ever seen for sale this side of the pond. We'll see. The market stinks at the moment, anyway.

Did he at least give you the rebate he offered?
Ralf
no, i turned it down and requested a return. eBay sent me a message saying that while they agree it's an "item not as described" they can't really do anything as I paid directly, not through Paypal (lessons learned). I left him a fat negative, then got a message saying the seller would like me to reconsider, so I sent him a message saying I thought the feedback was honest but he was welcome to reply to see if we could still sort it out. Tumbleweed so far :)

By the way, that guitar was initially sold on 3. August and obviously that buyer also returned it (or didn't pay) and it was listed again and sold to you on 20. August...

Ralf

Way to go Ralf, you are valuable and upstanding.
