My second Guild and the most I have ever paid for a musical instrument. It was £11 more than the first guitar I ever bought, but, to put it in perspective that was in the mid 1980's and the list price was actually quite a bit more than that of the F-240E! That first guitar was a slightly shop worn, but new 1979 Guild S-300, which is still my favourite guitar
First impressions are good, it has a really good tonal range, responding well to different playing techniques and touch. Still very much getting to know the instrument, but liking it. Overall build quality seems excellent, with my only criticism being that the fret ends could be finished a bit better. I like the satin finish, it looks and feels almost like the wood has been finely sanded and left unfinished.

Nice, HNGD! Looks like good matched pieces too, no runout. I’d say all that’s left to do now is be sure the neighbors know you have a new guitar ;)
