I very much prefer the teardrop burst that I am seeing in the attached photo vs the the full perimeter bursts. I think the teardrop works much better aesthetically with Guild's pickguard. Also, I've grown to appreciate Guild's apparent overspraying of the rosette. I've owned two Guilds done in that fashion, and I like my Guilds to be burst in that fashion. For me that's old school Guild. Good Stuff!
