Wow, congrats! Gorgeous burst! I had a "K&K Pure 12-string" put in my F512, works fine. You just need to dial in the EQ. I guess dual-source systems (under saddle & soundhole mic) might also be worth looking at.

There is another thread - I am still not finding things as easily as I expect - where someone had a K&K 12 installed, against the recommendation of his luthier, and now wishes he had gone with a dual source system. The K&K 12 did not capture his 12 as well as the K&K 6 captured his 6.

I've got nothing to compare it to. It certainly "captures" the sound. I've just got to turn down the trebles and mids.

Nice. This is like my '83 D212, where they sprayed the sunburst over the rosette. Doesn't bother me one bit ! I can't recommend a pick-up system, because it always seems like a crap-shoot to me.

yes, thanks~the one I sold pre-fire in 2005~ long story short~
...
I have noticed how hard they are to come by (lots of F412 "naturals"). Looking everywhere online for a vintage F412 sb's? my searches have yielded " next to nothing" as far as those that were made in Westerly, Rhode Island goes. Now I am guessing the shadetops must be mostly in private collections?

I'm also wondering about production numbers. Is there a website? Hoping here to see more between1970-1980's.. I understand if they are not for sale they may not be visible to me. Maybe there is a photo gallery set up somewhere ? I hope so.Thanks in advance!

Strangely intrigued .

You are asking for information that may, or may not, be available just because of the Guild records that were not preserved. If it is available and someone has pulled it all together, no one here seems to know. Finally, and this may be my irritation at social distancing speaking, but it is not exactly clear what you are asking.

I think you want to know:

How many F-412s were made between 1970 and 1980, inclusive?

and

How many of those were 'bursts?

Stated like that, Hans' book may shed some light up through 1977 and Hans may have unpublished i formation he'd be willing to share.
