Just acquired this beauty from @sonic romp, who was great to deal with, and the guitar was just as described, as far as condition goes. I was able to confirm that it was manufactured in Westerly, and not Hoboken, although that is irrelevant to me.

Going out on a limb, but I think this guitar was probably played in a church at some point.
It plays and sounds fantastic. Brazilian back and sides, all original. The sunburst is beautiful. I have never seen a burst F312 before. And the Waverly 6 on a strip tuners are actually pretty good.
My ‘68 Hoboken F312 NT, which has a Brazilian back and EIR sides, has Japanese tuners that function OK, but are very stiff by comparison. Not surprising that many people replace them with Mini-Grovers.
