Been a member a while, but haven't really posted...sorry for being a lurker. Thought I'd share NGD...New Oxnard F-40 Traditional, to go with my D-55 , and D-40. Needs a little truss adjustment, and new strings, but so far, I think will be a good one. Bought this to replace an F-50R I used to have, but was a moron and sold about 5 years ago...just couldn't swing another one... very few Guilds available in my area...but I love the Guild Jumbo...

Thanks :)
Walt

Congrats! I have a D-40 trad that I really love, and I'm sorely tempted by the F-40. Very impressed by the Oxnards.

Thanks for the kind words...new strings brightened it up on top, and kept the nice punchy bass. Truss adjustment went well...always nerve racking on a new guitar...

Must be difficult to make time for playing! I would "look" way too long after opening the case. Surely, easy on your eyes.

Congratulations DueNrth ! Those Oxnard F-40’s are too big for me but there seems to be a lot of love from those who play them. Yours is a beauty.

Really like that one in it’s natural gloss finish. Also like the pickguard shape & headstock treatment. Congrats & Enjoy!
