Well folks, I couldn't take the pressure any longer, I jumped on the Sweetwater wagon and snagged a new D-140CE. Should be arriving on my doorstep sometime tomorrow.

I've been thinking for a while now about getting something that I could plug in to keep up with friends with pickups, and these GADs are just too good of a deal to pass up. All solid woods, electronics, and a nice case for under 5 bills... This kind of opportunity likely won't come around for a while...

This is the first time I've bought a guitar without playing it first, so there is a little bit of trepidation involved, but from all the comments I've seen here, the chances I'll like the sound are pretty good. It's good to see the positive reactions to the GADs from all the folks here that I've come to trust...

Now I just need an amp.....

Congrats KY!! I just bought a GAD25 ( 2011 ) off of Reverb.. Slightly used for $425 with case. I am a proud Westerly owner as well, but I will say it again.. There is a tremendous value to be had with these guitars so kudos to you for adding one to your collection and taking advantage of the sweet deals they are putting out there. My next horizon will be seeing what Mr. Ferguson spits out of Oxnard.. Though based on price points I have already seen, I will be saving up for a little while for sure..

Seems like Sweetwater is a great company to work with.
