I was only able to resist Clay's beautiful Bluesbird P-90 for a month before I succumbed to G.A.S. and bought it. It's beautiful, it's relatively light weight and with the Benson Custom vintage style P-90 pickups, it sounds great, too. The neck feels about the same as my Blues 90, i.e. big, but not gigantic. I'm one of the few people that actually like the hot wound Duncan pickups in the Blues 90 (bright, but 2 dimensional), and having a Bluesbird with vintage style P-90s offers a nice tonal alternative. It's a really fine guitar. The only change I made (after the photos were taken) was to replace the plastic switch tip with a metal tip.
