Finally picked up the Guild after it having spent the last three weeks with the luthier. He did a setup, finish buff, replaced missing piece of headstock binding, and stabilized a crack on the top. Excellent work, you'd never know the new binding is new!

Indeed excellent work by your luthier! Nothing visible anymore of any repair of the binding on the headstock.

What material is the purfling or binding made of on the GF60R? Easier to match or replace all on the neck?

Not being a luthier, I have no idea to either question. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will have an answer for you. It's some sort of plastic. The luthier had on hand the stock used to replace my missing headstock piece.
