I don’t have a team currently playing this time of year, my Pats kind of starting over.

but I digging the Brady vs Rodgers matchup today. Pretty cool to see it.

Go Bucs! i.e., go Brady!

Just put up a touchdown with 8 seconds in the half - nice!

Big Pats fan for years, long before Brady - but boy, Brady is a winner. Belichick is a great coach, but his "grumpy" act at press conferences, etc. got tiring for me. Also, when he benched Malcolm Butler in Super Bowl LII - for what, we'll never know - I could no longer get behind him. Cost them the game in my opinion.

The "Brady vs Belichick" discussion will get crazy if the Bucs make it to the Super Bowl! For me, there's never been a need to discuss it...

And I agree with the Butler decision. Very unnecessary.

Oh, LaFleur is getting hammered on social media for that. Very stupid. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Even if no TD, the Bucs would have been back on their own 10 yard line. And Packers STILL NEEDED A TD ANYWAY!

Here's a great line of sarcasm from Twitter: "In Matt LaFleur’s defense, any time you have a chance at the end of the game to go from a touchdown down to “still a touchdown down, but without the ball,” you have to do it".

BTW, Brady is really cashing in:

"According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brady will earn $500,000 if the Buccaneers win later this afternoon and advance into the Super Bowl. The bonus is just one of many in the veteran quarterback’s incentive-laden contract with Tampa Bay.

Brady has already cashed in for his postseason success in 2020, earning a total of $1.25 million for the Bucs playoff run. The 43-year-old earned $500,000 for making the postseason, $250,000 for Tampa’s wild-card win in Washington, and another half-million dollars for a divisional round victory over the Saints.

Another $500,000 could land in Brady’s pocket if the veteran quarterback can continue the Buccaneers miracle run on Sunday."

Looks like he got the additional $550K. Next stop, Super Bowl appearance number 10. That's double the next quarterback, John Elway, with 5 appearances. He also joins Norm Van Brocklin (1940s, 50s and 60s) and Johnny Unitas (1950s, 60s and 70s) as the only QBs to play in a Super Bowl/NFL Championship in 3 different decades.

Maybe Rodgers will ask to leave Green Bay and go to New England. But, while this is my pie in sky goal, who will he have to throw to?

pats are done and Brady still winning.

Tom leaving New England was the best thing that could have happened to him - he ended up with a team with tons of weapons and built to compete for a championship. New England is re-building. He can finish out the last few years of his career winning. Making it to 10 Superbowls is just unimaginable. I don't hear any Brady haters now.

Being a Giants/Jets/Buffalo fan I never liked NE but Brady is something special...I always admired him but didn't really fall into his camp until I saw the look on his face when he jumped off the bench at the end of the last NE vs. Seattle Super Bowl. The guy wants it!!

If New England is "re-building", then Bill needs to explain Cam Newton again...

BTW, gotta love this:

Tom Brady now has the same number of NFC division titles as Aaron Rodgers.
