T-100 initially had Frances.
Starfires had DeArmonds until about 1964, probably 63. Bible is not in front of me.
After the Starfire was introduced, T-100 had a variety of single coil pickups, until the Mickey mouse was introduced.
Right before they were discontinued in the early seventies, some of them had humbuckers, as they were just using up parts on a low demand model.

IIRC, T-100s after the early 60s could have Hagstrom Adjustomatics with either chrome or white tops.

The Starfires have appeared with different variations of Dearmond pickups. The most common was the Dearmond 2000 on Guilds with white tops. These are what Gretsch called the Dynasonics. We've seen rare examples of Starfires with what I think is called the Dearmond 210 with a single line of magnets and a beveled white top.

Others -- and, yes I mean Ralf or Hans :C) -- please correct me if I'm wrong about this.

See Hans's book, and GAD's Dearmond article. This is also a useful Dearmond reference site.

Apparently it made more sense than the master-volume that was put on there by a previous owner! If you want to know what it does, you should ask the seller ........... or buy the guitar!

Sincerely,

I asked the seller immediately, but, the guitar was sold before a response. They never did respond.

I think I saw the same guitar later on with a plug instead of a toggle
