Marc,

I keep going to your website looking for a performance of yours, but I never can seem to pul anything up. Am I doing something wrong?

Very sorry. I just saw this message.

For best selection & sound quality, my music site.

I haven't had any reports of downloading problems
from there. Bandwidth slows down maybe at peak hours.

For a bit of prestige - but lousy sound quality there is
my page at Channel V Asia

Believe it or not, I've been Channel V's #2 artist in Vietnam for at least three months running.
I was #1 for about a month or so back in May/June.

That is not a testament to my wide popularity. It's just a testament
to the fact that Vietnam is so poor, that damned few can afford to record music.
Even fewer can put it on the internet or listen to it on the internet.
Finally, it's a testament to the fact that very few people in Vietnam know about
Channel V, which is a TV network similar to MTV or VH1 that's popular elsewhere in SE Asia.

Finally there is my favorite. Film Musique & Fantomas in France.

I'm just so pround of that one. I can't get over it. What nice people!

Concerning Guilds on-site. "Perhaps You're Just Stupid - Congenitally",
"A Woman from Cuba" & "Shanghai to Sao Paolo" feature my 1972 D-25.
A lot of the others feature a hand-made Maple dread I bought over here.
It's the best recording guitar I've ever played on or owned.

There is a song called "Who Knows?" that I fingerpick both guitars on and separate them by channel. "Let's Park the Car for Awhile" is a good example of the sound of my $250 hand-made Maple dread being fingerpicked within an arrangement. That guitar beats all I've ever seen once you turn on the mic. It's gaudy and kind of ugly. But Jeez - turn on the mic, and it delivers.

Some of the totally acoustic numbers feature a Collings, Taylor 814CE,
and a Guild JF-55 (Maple). Peter Streit mostly plays those songs. But I
play a few.

i just got the alaska pik's in the mail and they are real easy to get accustom to. i am going to do a little trimming on them but they are the best i have tried, and they have a nice sound. i got the plastic. thanks alot Jerry.

Glad you are getting on well - I use the plastic too, but only when I have a nail break. I still prefer all nails only for my subtlest ( ) stuff, and normal thumbpick and nails for noiser stuff, but when a thumbnail or finger nail goes on one of my nail only songs I will use the bigger Alaskapik on the thumb and finger sized Alaskapiks on the fingers. They pick in the same way as a nail - always found standard picks contrary in that they curve over the ball of the finger.
