Your Starfire V should have the neck to body joint at the 18th fret, so that pickguard should fit I would guess. You can double check if the distance between the pickups is 71 mm (2.795").

You can buy an oversized one and cut it to shape around the pickups.

Do you know this specific clear plastic type of pickguards? There is really no oversized one unless you find a clear blank. You can only do slight adjustments like from a little humbucker LB-1 to a HB-1 or cut notches for the height adjustment screw but not much more. It's a very hard and thick material (for instance Rohm&Haar PLEXIGLAS was used) that is screen printed first in gold and later in black but just on the bottom.

That is how a similar blank looks like before the black paint is silk screened and before the cutouts for the pickups are applied:

I cannot tell you how the Newark St. Starfire pickguards are manufactured.

Oh, sorry, I thought that they could be cut or at least filed down, but I guess not, sorry I can't help you.

No worries, those are really all a bit special... Here's a picture of a pile of them in various states: (not mine...)
