. . .Also, every time someone asks I push it back a month. 🤪

That's exactly the right thing to do - you have your stuff in line - and everything comes up when previous is done - but if need be, it can always be put back a bit, if there's a good enough ( for you ) reason . . . 😅 :sneaky::rolleyes:

I've always hated the term "fast neck". What does that even mean? I play the same speed on a thick neck as I do on a shallow one. There are necks that I prefer that other's don't. You can play faster on jumbo frets if you've practiced, but some people consider low and wide to be "faster".

Hello,

beautiful guitar!
I recently bought almost the same one, from 1971 with no master volume.
I sold my Gibson ES 335 for the Starfire ;)

Mine has the same bridge ... I think that's the original one, right?

Is your bridge firmly in place or can it be tilted a little back and forth? This is the case with my bridge ...spacer sleeves or something may be missing ?

I'll take some pictures of the beauty tonight

Cheers, Ben ......new member from Germany

The reason I like it so much is because my absolutely favorite finish is BrockBurst on a Les Paul. There are so many subtle variations, though. Gibson has used BrockBurst, ScotchBurst, and a few other names. It's the dark red that I dig. Iced Tea is mostly all brown and doesn't do it for me.
