Hello,
I just registered with the forum and thought I would share my new acquisition with you as my introduction. It's a 90 Songbird judging from the serial #. There really isn't much info on these thin bodied acoustic/electric's to be had on the internet!! I took some pics and here they are:

I am pleasantly suprised by the sound of this guitar. I look forward to testing it out in the gigging arena!! BTW, if anyone can recommend an aftermarket case for it, that would be great. This came without one. Scooped it up for $550! It needed a good bath too!!
Thanks for looking!
Tim

Hello Tim,

Welcome! Your Songbird is from 1990 indeed. Not sure what kind of aftermarket cases are available for your guitar these days since it's a bit bigger than the average 'Les Paul' style guitar.
However, it might help you to know that a Guild Nightbird or Bluesbird case would fit your guitar as well.
I could help you with a new Guild case but I'm located in the Netherlands. Where are you located?

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

Hi Hans,
You might recognize the Starfire IV in the group pictures! I sent you some pics of it a couple of years ago with some measurements. I'm in New York, USA. I have to update my profile! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for the cases you mentioned or end up bringing it to a guitar store and trying out cases. I'm sure I'll find something eventually. And when I do, I'll be sure to post the info! I don't know if you received a couple of e-mails I sent you at your site but if you need detailed photo's on this model, just let me know and I'd be glad to pass them on to you.
Take care,
Tim
