Thank you all for such a warm welcome, I'll post pictures as soon as I can figure out how to.

I actually thought about selling it but the sentimental value means so much to me!

Yep. Folks can clink on the links and see your guitar. If you want to check that it works you can use the Preview button - next to Submit - when composing a message.

If you want the pictures to appear in your message (like I did below) use the IMG tag and then put the url inside it.

It will look like
http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad344/tmd442/My%20Dads%20Guild/100_2961.jpg

when you are editing except the brackets will be square [] not angles <>.

No he bought it in 55,
Dad sent it to Guild when they were in were up in New England around 1970 or 71 to have it refurbished.
Dad decided to have them install the humbuckers.

I really appreciate all the compliments!

Beautiful guitar Tom. Your dad had great taste.

I'd keep a tight hold on that one if I were you... 8)

I finally made it back onto the site, moved from NY to Florida and have a new email address.
Took awhile to get back on but I'm back.
I appreciate all the compliments on my late dad's guild.
Not sure if I plan on selling it, really can't play it since I chopped off the end of a finger on my fret hand.
Anyway it's good to be back.
