New member-questions on how do I.............

1. add information to the box on the left side of my posts,
2. add a photo to the box on the left eide of my posts,
3. add permanent information below the area where I compose my comments.

The left side box is fixed and set by the board. That's not going to change.

The photo, you click on your user name (upper right corner of the screen) and then select Account Details. Scroll down and adding an Avatar is there.

The permanent info below gets added to every post is the same but click Signature right next to Account Details. Here is where you list guitars and pertinent information. Try to keep it as brief as possible. No one likes scrolling through a mile of stuff when reading threads.

1) This is controlled by the software and admin (me), so only what is configured to be there will show up
2) On the top right of every page you'll see your user name next to a little envelope (under the site logo). Click your username, then click "Preferences". This is where you can change everything. On the left of the new page click "Settings" and you should see your Avatar and other stuff that you can change.
3) This is a "Signature". On the same page as in #2, look on the left for "Signature" and edit there.

Yeah, couldn't recall if it still applied. I'd have to buy more guitars to test it, or else just make a post there.
