Thanks for confirming that the guitar originally had these transparent instead of black knobs, Walter, and that means that my new Guild is probably even more "special." ;-)
I think I know why the volume knob has been replaced - I saw the guitar listed on Reverb.com by the same seller for a while, and the photos on Reverb showed that one of the two volume knobs was damaged, so it looks like he replaced the damaged volume knob with a knob labelled 'tone', so there you go...:)

Yes, and that is a new guitar, not vintage. Means metric. Vintage knobs won't fit. Usually some can be found on ebay in Europe but most probably any Guild dealer in Europe can order them, it might just take a while until they arrive.

Whoops. My bad. I saw the partial label and did not recognize it was a Newark Street label, in my haste :-(

below some statement from guild guitar book.
Yoshida-san, the guitar in question (post#1) is also a new Made in Korea one, so the info in Hans' book won't help. You probably should edit your post above and delete the pictures as they are Hans' copyright.
The question was simply if that single one came from Korea with clear knobs, as others from the same series came with black knobs.

Here are a couple of photos I took last Sunday of my new 2020 blonde X-175B/SP-II:

Beautiful guitar. The MIK Guilds are super nice, especially for the price. The DeArmond Pu’s are icing on the cake.
enjoy it!

Thanks a lot, shihan! :)
I by the way recently also bought a fantastic & great-sounding Epiphone 'Excellente' (made in Indonesia in 2021) for a truly great price as well (below € 1000,-), and I think that my new blonde Guild X-175B/SP-II is a very nice companion to the Excellente... ;-)20230112_171021.jpg20230112_171120.jpg20230112_171159.jpg
