New headstock inlay on a X-175 Manhattan

Nor here is something new to me, I have never seen such a Guild headstock inlay before. Is that a limited edition or a new Guild design that we'll come across more often now?

The sweetwater description refers to ". . . arched maple back and sides." Never heard of "arched" sides before.

At leat they got the trussrod cover on correctly. Did Guilds need a new headstock inlay?

There are a couple of new logos. I believe @FNG has one as his avatar.

Sweetwater has the X-175 Manhattan Dynasonic in black, white and red. I'm not in the market, but someone will be interested. Calling these pickups Dynasonics is debatable, but the guitars are good looking. The price is lower than the Manhattan Special also..

Ouch, I obviously don't visit this forum often enough. And ouch again, that new inlay is not exactly a favorite among Guild lovers. I must say that I like that guitar. Dynasonics and harp tailpiece are great, ebony fretboard on a black archtop with chrome hardware, that's very classy. And the new inlay doesn't spoil it for me although I would have preferred some kind of variation of the big G. Not a deal breaker, though.
