New headstock inlay on a X-175 Manhattan

Nor here is something new to me, I have never seen such a Guild headstock inlay before. Is that a limited edition or a new Guild design that we'll come across more often now?

At leat they got the trussrod cover on correctly. Did Guilds need a new headstock inlay?

Ouch, I obviously don't visit this forum often enough. And ouch again, that new inlay is not exactly a favorite among Guild lovers. I must say that I like that guitar. Dynasonics and harp tailpiece are great, ebony fretboard on a black archtop with chrome hardware, that's very classy. And the new inlay doesn't spoil it for me although I would have preferred some kind of variation of the big G. Not a deal breaker, though.
