Well you need rings for a normal humbucker size and you loose the tilt adjustment with the two screws on the bass side but since the DeArmond pickups use the Fender baseplate you are lucky using the middle hole and hence you don't need to modify the rings.

So need some without the tilt? Can flat one work also?

That's not what I mean, the DeArmond pickup rings have two holes on the bass side, so you can slightly adjust the tilt of the pickups.
But since the construction of the baseplate is the same like of a Fender humbucker you can use any pickup ring without modifucation by simply using the middle hole.

And if two flat rings work depends how high you need to set the bridge pickup. If the bridge pickup ring is too low it might be difficult to bring the pickup close enough to the strings. (depends on the screws and springs as well). So you need to measure this.

I get it. I can use the gold plated first ones. Cool that is what I want.

Cool and congrats! Looks in excellent and original condition!
That is a example picture. My camera took really dark pictures. Mine has a deep scratch in the finish near the knobs. And the knobs have been replaced with after market knobs. Mine also has a nasty really bad ding on the side of the guitar. Bad. And I want new humbucker rings gold plated. It needs a good cleaning and new strings. The pickguard is roached. So since they are not made any more I will remove the pick guard. And not use one. What humbucker rings gold plated would you suggest?

It is light and not really heavy as everyone said. It came with a used Fender case for a acoustic guitar they let me have cheap. It love the neck profile and the trapeze tail piece. It was used. And has a few really small dings but not as bad as the bad ding on the side. Or the scratch. A really nice fret board. So I cannot complain. Cleaning, strings and a set up. How can I fix the bad dent and gouge? And the long scratch in the finish? I can feel the scratch with my fingers.

Thank you for the kind words. 🤡☺️

Samick, thanks for the clarification. That metal-flake Tyrian purple color is a real visual chameleon,
can appear anything from a dull violet to something closer to magenta, depending on how
it's photographed - I've found it challenging to capture in the photos I've taken thus far.
Fwiw - an '01 DeArmond Jet-Star I have with the Tyrian Purple finish is a remarkably different color
that the Tyrian Purple on my '99 M75 - so that particular color may vary from model
to model and / or year to year.

Not sure on the humbucker rings, my focus has been on original or mostly original examples
of these instruments but I've seen some modded DeArmonds that looked pretty cool.

Fwiw, I bought a replacement pickguard for an M77T from Pickguardian, it was excellent quality.
Looks like they offer quite a selection of pickguards for the M75 if you decide at some point to replace it.

Fixing dents, gouges, scratches - personally never attempted any serious fixes,
have watched various how-to's on youtube. The typically thick Polyurethane finish on a DeArmond
likely has some considerations and characteristics re cosmetic repair that are very
different from lacquer finishes. A youtube search yielded these:

Thank you for the info. Mine is the same color in the first picture. My camera when I took the pictures made my pictures so dark they looked like the old faded polaroid pictures from the instant camera dad used in the 1978. You can no longer see the old pictures. I need a new camera bad. But mine was used. And I want to fix the 2 issues with the body and add new humbucker rings. It needs a clean up and new strings.

It is my Christmas present. It is in my closet with a Line 6 X3 pedal board. We found them early in the used section. They had 1 of each. So that is why I got them early. I will mess with the guitar at Christmas. I did look it over twice and tried to take pictures. But my camera did not take anything good. So in the closet it stays until then. 9 weeks to go and I can fix the issues, set it up, etc... Thanks also for the reply.

Well, sounds like a cool Christmas present / project - have fun, keep us posted, and if you have
better luck with pics down the road, post them - I'd enjoy seeing how the new pickup rings look.
On another subject - what's the guitar in your avatar? Looks interesting, is it yours?

No. I do not own it. It was a 1970's SG copy during the lawsuit era I found on line. I got more if you want to see them?

It needs just a little work, love, and attention.

I have a black M-75 that I love. It's in the process of being turned into a Jr. style guitar with one humbucker in the bridge. The stock Goldtones are awesome, though I sold mine to help fund an S-100 purchase! I've owned it for about 3 years and paid $300 from Guitar Center, with a hard case! Great guitar!

May as well post in this thread as there is already some good info here, but apologies for resurecting an old thread.
I have been browing some DeArmond Korean M75 and M75T models. One thing I am worried about , is that I hear they are heavy. Other query is, would it be easy to install a bigsby style trem or a guild one on the models with the harp bridge?
