It's not a Guild. It's hand-made Vietnamese, Mahogany. If anyone is interested in how it sounds - here it is. Composition/orchestration is 70% finished. I mixed the archtop loud so y'all can hear it.

SLOW BOSSA

Let me know what you think.

I think the archtop sounds pretty good.

Gear (shown - mic included):

Guitar: Vietnamese archtop (Mahogany) Tam Hiep Luthiers.

Mic used: RODE NT1 (Only 1 mic used. It's the only condensor mic I have over here.)

Pre-Amp JoeMeek VC3 Pre-amp (compressor OFF). Less need for compression w/a good archtop.

Bass, Piano, Japanese Flute, Percussion- Yamaha MU100 Synth Module

Controller: Roland RS-50 synth. (My only set of keys in Saigon right now).

Merci beaucoups.

I don't know why I posted two sets of images.
I must have been drunk Christmas Eve.

Come to think of it - I was.

Cheers.
