What guitar is Shane Alexander playing, the second artist? Is it vintage? The tuners are throwing me off.

The lady playing the bass was cool.

It's an early 1963 maple F-50 with the Kolb tuners and the (according Hans) Gilbert Diaz designed white diamond shaped buttons! He has her since many years already and plays her a lot live. He said he will never sell her as this is one of his most favorite guitars.
(EDIT: Could be also a very late 1962 one, I don't know the 3rd number after the 22 serial number, so it is right between 1962 and 1963. Shane called her in the past a '62 and later on he called her a '63.)

Love Rival Sons and Jay Buchanan! Plenty of videos of them playing Guilds on youtube, I'm glad Guild is spotlighting them...

I figured it was vintage, but assumed they were showcasing new Guilds. Always thought those Kolb tuners were classy.

I tell you, I got confused as well and was wondering! But Guild had that event today split in two parts, the first part was the "Guild Artist Showcase" which was a virtual concert filmed earlier in the Guild factory in Oxnard. So the artists played any Guilds they liked, not necessarily new products. (well the bass was new).

Half an hour later they started a "new products introduction" presentation and showed videos of artists playing the new models. (The 6 string and 8 string Baritones, the new Starfire 1 bass with split pickups and the F-240E). I put this video in the product threads starting with NAMM 2021, so you can find them easily with a Search.
