Anyone got interesting names for their guitars? I have an F50 I christened "Marilyn" (blonde, curvy and beautiful!) and my D25 is "Dora" ( picked up at a swapmeet in Mount Dora in Florida)

Named my very first flat-top (an '80 or so Korean Carlos) Stringeater due to the adjustable metal saddle's insatiable appetite for G-strings.
My old D25M is "Louise."
My new old D15 is "Lydia."
You can probably guess which songs I lifted those names from.
When I came home one day to find my roommate (who was gonna be moving out in a week) had rescued an abandoned kitten maybe only a couple of weeks old which of course he wasn't going to take with him, I said "Yeah thanks buddy"....but while I was sitting the couch figuring out what to do it crawled up onto the back of the couch and then onto my shoulder and just perched there, and that was that.Hmm...by model name--not just the Guilds but the Nationals and Dobros. For almost 30 years I let any new animal choose its own name. I run through a list of 20 different sounding names and the first one they respond to is their name. I figure they know more than I do. I guess I should try that with my instruments, but somehow I'm not sure it would work. Oh--and all my cats come when I call their names--Manx cats are more like dogs in their behavior
(which is just as well--my Basenjis are more cat-like than other dogs).
