I've actually had this a while now, I wanted to be able to plug in my phone to play with backing tracks. I figured I'd get a nice little amp with built-in effects, etc. I've had VOX amps before, always impressed. The VOX VX GT fit the bill nicely. I am really enjoying it, loud and clear for such a small amp, and it's crazy how light it is.

Do you get a lot of digital "artifacts" in the sound using the built-in effects?

Not that I notice, but I'm guessing I do. This is not the same as a nice pedal board, but I'm having fun with it.

That looks like a newer version of the VT30 I reviewed years ago. I can tell you that I played that VT30 in front of a few hundred people and no one complained a bit! I bet with advancements since then that thing is a little monster!

Yes, it's fun! Lots of "amp models" to pick from, effects, etc. Nice little amp, just what I needed!

I wanted a small travel amp that was easy to transport and something I could play late at night without rattling the windows. I went with a 3W VOX that was on sale. I am more than pleased with it. Good volume, great sounding effects, 10 amp model simulations and 6AA batteries will get me 8hrs of playing time. I also think it is Groovy looking!

I have a little Roland Micro Cube like that that I've brought with me to test guitars in the before-times when I'd do Craigslist deals. So much fun in such a little package! I've also been seen sitting on a park picnic bench with it and a Starfire. Man that seems like forever ago.

Beat you to it. I have been letting my freak flag fly since this pandemic started. I'm looking like a cross between someone who was asked to leave a rock festival for behavioral issues and one of the Globetrotters from the 70's. If it gets any more hippie looking I am going to start wearing a Dashiki asking women what their ''Sign'' is.:D
