Hello, I have this old guild electric guitar and I did a lot of research on it and I just can’t find a model that was ever made that matches this one! The guitar has no serial number on it and there’s no USA stamp either which adds to the mystery ! This is definitely a vintage guitar that is dated between 1955 and 1967 but there are a few things that are very mysterious !
I never saw any guild that has this exact stenciled of the guild name and seems different than the usual stenciled
The tail piece is a zig zag style trapèze and I never seen any guild have it, in fact it matches the tail piece of a Gibson es-175 !
It seems like the guitar is a mix between the Gibson es 175 and Guild ce 100d
I searched so many hours on it and I’m now at a dead end, can anyone help solve the mystery :
what is the model, year and how much do you think this guitar is worth ?
Thank you
Oliver
