Cool Guild. You might be able to remove the sigs with naptha without harming the finish...

DEET will take it off too.

I don't have any plans to remove the signatures. Thanks for the info though.

I think that autographs are worthless for the most part and I do realize that it hurt the resale value of my D60, but selling it has never (nor will ever) be considered. Today, now that I'm much older and wiser, I will never allow anyone else to write on my instruments.
I agree and just thought that if......

I say leave 'em on too. I once put a .45 into my LTD. Dug the bullet out of the floorboard and kept it. Still have it. Sold the LTD back in '91. Why did I keep the bullet bits? Because no matter how old or wise ( ) I get I ALWAYS want to remember my potential for careless acts.

Same with signed guitars. Now I wouldn't dream. But if I'd met Al Di Meola back when I first bought my D40SB (At age 16)... Man I just don't know. I bet I would have. I took the damned thing to summer camp two years running. That was nearly Einstein level genius. If I could have gotten a cool signature...

OBTW, lovely axe! I really dig this forum 'cause dudes with awesome guitars share freely.

Viva Guild!!!

Don't know how I missed this thread.... oh, yeah I do.... I hadn't joined yet!!  Anyway, this D60 is almost identical to my D65s except the maple isn't stained, and the headstock is the other one, wider at the top. That's the only difference I can see. It's a beautiful guitar (cept for the siggies, in my opinion) and if it sounds anything like my D65s (which I will never sell, either) you've got a total winner there, guilded1!! These guitars are SO SIMILAR!! Thanks for sharing images and details on this great guitar! Tom in Vegas
