I went to an informal band practice Wednesday and decided that since I went to the bother of removing the pickup switch and thoroughly cleaning it (I was down to...uh....zero working pickup connections) and now had nice solid contact in the switch that I'd bring it out. It's setup a bit weird with 9 1/2 sized strings but what the heck. I went through a digitech rp250 effects pedal into a crate 50W tube amp. Set the rp on "perty" in the factory settings for one of the songs. The thing sounded like the Beatles clanging away on an old Rickenbacker. Very cool, retro sound. It's last time out like that was back in my garage band days in the 70's. It did get some attention from the rest of the band.
