Here's a gift from my wife, when she could have easily bought something for herself. A beautiful spirit, she passed away a couple of years later. She did ask me to cherish it and not sell it. In the hierarchy of my other guitars, it's my keeper. The label shot isn't too clear, but It's a Corona build, serial #CR000069. I think the name is Park Avenue but I'm having hard time dating it. I presume it's in the early 2000's. The whole body pic is near the bottom, followed by a blurry shot of the inner label.

Fender's own Rob Schwarz had posted the specs here and it also shows the model was only available between January 2002 and January 2003 (if Fender's info is correct), so it's very likely your guitar is from 2002.

The Fender Frontline Catalog 2002 and the Guild catalog 2003 showed the following info:

One thing incorrect in the specs is the fact that Fender called the pickups: "Guild HB-1 Humbucking Pickups". Yes they look like them but under the hood are Fender's own humbuckers, so usually they are called "Fender HB-1" in such Guild guitars. GAD has written about the differences here:

I remember that model because of the bound headstock. Considered buying one at the time. Pretty sure they were the top-of-the-line coming out of Corona. If I recall they had a deeper body than a X150.

Pretty sure there was a reissue of the X-180 but typical of Guild they didn't duplicate the bound headstock and maybe other specs.

Definitely a keeper with the sweet memories of your wife and a beautiful guitar.

I've seen one in gold and one in white as well.

And GAD hasn't changed in the last 12 month...:p
