I got my first Smooth Stone, (two more coming) in July, and I just gotta say, I love this thing. It's got a big booming base with clear mids and ringing treble. Everyone that's played or heard it says it sounds awesome.Curly redwood top, grafted walnut back and sides, claro walnut neck, macassar ebony fingerboard, bridge, and peghead overlay, and flamedd maple binding. Might be a little too much bling for some of you here, but, I like it. Here are a few pictures of the build process, and the finished guitar.

and last but not least, Dale Humphries of Smooth Stone guitars. Prices are reasonable, and the product is great.
You can find him on the web, if you're interested. smoothstoneguitars.com .....as an addendum, I have no financial stake in this, only a desire to see Dale succeed.
