MY First GUILD

Guild d4 nt serial # CF000123 made in the USA I would add a photo but don't know how to yet. On the pick guard there is a name of Amanda Monique. guess this will have to be her name. I picked this up at the pawn shop for 74 dollars and a smile. there was a crack on the sides of the bridge so It had to get repaired and the shop did a fine job with a nice set up the neck is strait and the action is how I like it. This is my first guild. and what a joy. could anybody please let me know if this is made in 1991 . looks like the finish is getting a little crackle in it but to me this adds to her beauty

All I can tell you is what that the last serial number for 1991 was CF000323. I can find no data for the year 1990. Since your guitar is #133 that means it was made 190 guitars before the last one of the year in 1991 (#323). I would say it is not to unlikely that yours was made in 1991.

Yes, 1991 was the first year for the D-4 but as usual the numbers on the various (on-line) serial number lists are way off. That first year Guild made almost 2000 D-4s more than what's listed on these sites.

But anyway, your D-4 with serial # CF000133 was done during 1991.

thank you all for the information. this plays so nice with such warn tone's. at first I had this strung with mediums but the fingers were hurt'n so I have gone to a light and the tones are nice not as blended but nice
