Just wanted to share some pics with you guys. I finally got her all setup and spent the past day and a half playing her, so I figured it was time to give my thoughts on the guitar.

It can definitely play Blues, actually it puts out some really really creamy blues tones, which was my main concern. I really love the tone of the guitar both acoustically and plugged in. This is my first guitar with humbuckers and the SD1's sound super. I still have to get used to the dual tone knobs but so far I can get a real good bite out of them and also a really nice clean tone. The neck plays really nicely and feels perfect, although it will take me a little while to get used to the bound neck. The upper frets will be a little tougher to get to than my Telecaster but I am adjusting to it.

I love the look, feel and tone of this guitar!

a beautiful guitar! congrats... i bet it's a joy to play.

i would never have thought it, but my Starfire V is increasingly getting more play than my ES-335... ;)

That is a dead sexy guitar. You done good! I have a thing for blondes... guitars mostly. That one is a stunner. Would make a nice match for my SF4. :)

Why are you selling it ??

I played a Starfire IV and it felt much more comfortable and suitable for me. I think for the blues style music I play a semi hollow will be better.

Plus I want to finish the Telecaster project I am working on. So i can use 1/3 of the money for the Tele, 1/3 for bills, 1/3 to start my SFIV fund.

Hey Mojo nice guitar! I read a review of a Starfire with the aluminum bridge and they said it sounded as good as an old Les Paul. maybe you should look into getting one of those bridges for yours. I have a T100 and I considered the change myself. Sorry, can't remember the prices involved for the new bridge. adios d
