Nice! I just sold my natural finish '60 because I just wasn't playing it enough, and I always go back to the 175's.
Those tuners are very cool! If that's a birth year for you, I'm feeling old!
BTW, what's the nut width on that?

i think u are talking to GAD, but my CE-100D has a 1+5/8" nut. also these necks are mounted at the 14th fret, really a super groovy guitar
What year is it? (Let me guess....early to middle 1961?)
And was it a custom order or some such?
I'm debating whether to change the pickup or switch wiring because when both are on together they are out of phase (polarity?) with each other. It's a cool sound though and backing off one volume control slightly pretty much eliminates the honk.
Jeff, what year is yours?

Jeff's example is exactly what I'd like to find, which is like my first '59 T-100DP that I don't have anymore. But I do understand what you're saying about the binding. It's seems overly sensitive to heat. Also, I'm not a fan of the low frets that some of the 50s examples had that I've encountered, which I know were popular at the time. Although I'm not sure if they came from the Guild factory that way, or if past owners filed them flatter.jp,
I actually prefer the 50's sunbursts to the 1960-63 versions.
The light brown like Jeff's is one of my favorites......and those clear barrel knobs make it even better!
But I have had too much experience with mid to late 50's Hoboken Guilds and binding decomposition.....
I don't know anyone that is too thrilled with rebinding old guitars.
Fortunately they must have switched binding suppliers circa 1960 and forward.....and I've noticed 1 11/16" nut widths more often.
I can play 1 5/8" but just a little more room helps. Other than the two "dinosaurs" in my Avatar all my other Guilds are now circa 1960-63.
