I notice you're missing a couple of strings there and please clip those string ends too - beautiful guitar like that deserves it.
Pete Townshend has a F-612 guitar with similar fret markers.

If I am not mistaken, Pete’s guitar is a F512, not a F612.

Maybe this photo isn't of the F612 then? It doesn't have the bridge inlay of all the F612s I've seen pics of anyway.

(Parenthetically, is there is such a thing as a Guild F612"XL"? The F612 is already as XL as Guild ever got.)

He may very well have owned a F612. I am just saying that I believe the guitar in the picture is a F512.

In addition to lacking the bridge inlays as Glenn noted, the headstock is also lacking the F612 border inlays.

It also appears to have a 17” instead of an 18” lower bout.

I have seen the special inlays on a F212, F212XL, F412 Special, F512 and F612, but never on a F312.

I wonder if there are any out there.

Wow! Got a chance to play Heath's 12-string this afternoon -- one of the best sounding (massive) and playing (plays like a six-string) Guild 12-strings I've ever had the pleasure to handle. And I've owned (and still own) quite a few Guild 12s.

His repair guy did a stellar job on the neck reset -- very clean work.

Yeah, I'm sort of kicking myself for having sold it, but good on Heath for getting the neck reset done -- I had it for a couple years and never got around to it.

Folks, it's a monster!

Don't beat yourself up. I had my D 35 for over ten years before I spent the dough to fix it.

Ha!

My F312 (formerly Rich Cohen's, formerly Rich Patterson's) is in need of a neck reset and I'm now looking to use Heath's luthier for the job, so impressed was I by his work on F2121XL.

A bit of a hike from Boston though -- he's south of Hartford, about two hours drive each way.

That's about the same distance as when Guild was in New Hartford; I had them do repairs on a couple of my guitars -- so not out of the question.

Glenn
