Perhaps, but I would have bought some tech stocks in the 70's.That could very easily turn into a curse rather than a blessing.

I will not comment on the state of higher education institutions today, but whatever sparked this comment, Cynthia — I totally get it. I actually cannot really imagine my life without having had college as a goal and then later on my resume for working in high tech. I worked with a few (really genius) folks who bailed on college and entered the field back in the ‘70s and ‘80s and I learned a lot from them over the years. But theirs was a hard road and very rare. The big computer companies generally only hired from college by the time I graduated (early ‘80s).I would have gone to college and had a career rather than a string of jobs.
Well, I did go to college, graduated, and had a string of jobs.I would have gone to college and had a career rather than a string of jobs.
Make sure to write it down and save it somewhere so you don't forget. And a sticky note on the fridge to remind you where you put it.A 6 1/4" diameter plastic lid, like comes on a can of Crisco, snaps perfectly onto a Corelle cereal/soup bowl like that's what it was made for. I've had these dishes for a few decades and I'm just now figuring that out!
I'll put a stack of lids next to the bowls so that later I can wonder why they're there.Make sure to right it down and save it somewhere so you don't forget. And a sticky note on the fridge to remind you where you put it.
At least it's a step up from "Why am I here?"I'll put a stack of lids next to the bowls so that later I can wonder why they're there.![]()
Here in Oregon, the fried potato forms of choice are Tater Tots or Jojos. I dream of Cajun Tots!I want French fries, therefore French fries I shall have.
Poutine can be fun.
