Son Le,
Again,...queried LTG and it seems that the consensus for a
non-warrantied "new" guitar is roughly $400-$500
under a new, warrantied Guild.

Who lifted it from Gilbert Shelton's Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers undergound comics. Just to give a lead to folks who may be interested in looking 'em up. :D
Another variation (mine): Guilds will get you through times of no girlfriends better than girlfriends will get you through times of no Guilds. Ask me how I know.

Veer alert! In 1972 I had occasion to fly in the Atlantic Records jet with Mick Jagger. I sat across a table from him after a concert in Pittsburgh. He was drinking Coors beer in a 7 ounce can, listening to what I think was Gary Burton on the stereo and reading the "Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers."

I couldn't figure out why the gold was so dull or worn off on other F50s I'd seen, I think the only time I touched those tuners was when I changed strings or tunings....rock solid guitar...34 years later and still strong, you gotta love that too. So glad its getting the appreciation it deserves, that thing should last generations....Steffan
