Minor Miracle - Congratulations in order

My old Sony receiver lost too many DA converters and then even some analog channels. Too expensive to repair again.

So I spent a portion of the afternoon loading in a replacement Onkyo. Not up to mgod's standards but good enough for me since I still want to be able to crank out records, DAT tapes and LASERDISKS.

The LD player was recalcitrant due to operator error on the composite video inputs to the TV but I was finally able to watch the LD single of the famed Prince song Manic Monday.

Just need to master the tuner pre-sets.

I wish it had one more digital input but it'll have to do.

I never thought that one day, reading about "laser discs" or "composite video inputs" would tell me that I'm old.
But I guess it's still better than the alternative.
