I have watched this probably 10 times and I just howl every time. From the awkwardness to the reactions it just kills me.

I showed it to a guy I used to play in a band with in high school and middle school and said, "There's no way we ever looked that awkward" and he said that I was being generous.

LOL

Perfect. Only way it could have been better would've been the rest of the band going full-on The Who smash it up.

One of the comments on Youtube also cracked me up:

"No, the $19 stand is good enough", said Tim's dad as they browsed the music store.

I didn't watch it because I was one of those type of people in high school. At least they had the courage to get up in front of other people and play. The first time I tried to play in front of people, I froze, forgot the changes, packed up the guitar and put it in the car. I didn't play in front of anyone for at least a decade after that. A crowd? Not until the LMGs.

It’s funny because it’s so relatable. I’m pretty sure we were all that awkward. I absolutely give them kudos for getting up there AND for carrying on! I can also easily see how a bad first experience would be devastating.

I have to imagine that the audience is parents because middle schoolers would have been brutal.
