I'd be very interested in a set of MM pickups in a modern standard size. I suspect the bobbins are a hair too big for a Strat cover, but maybe a P90?

I'm 90% sure of how it is constructed, I would just like an example to confirm my suspicions.

I can tell you that a set of Strat type pickups fit inside the chrome surround that a MM pickup has. I had (foolishly) disgarded the MM pickups on a '65-66 S100 and inserted a Dimazio distortion sc in the neck position and a stacked DiMarzio HB in the bridge position.

Thanks Nuuska, that one has been around for a while. It's a DeArmond pickup from the nineties, not an original 60's though. I'll start a thread for resistance and hopefully, we can get some numbers on these.

Reference thread link.

No, it's not a DeArmond pickup from the '90s! It's an original Guild JetStar pickup from the '60s!

However, it's priced way too high, so it doesn't really matter what it is!

Sincerely,

Oh, I thought I was seeing a listing from Bonfires. He's listing a reissue and insinuating that it is a 60's model.
