Just a heads-up for those so inclined, Strings and Beyond has the Martin Flexible Core Phosphor Bronze Strings for $3 again, and they usually sell out pretty fast for this price. I use these strings and like them quite a bit, especially for the money. Shipping is free on orders over $35, so order up!8)

Never used them, but the way I play, $3 a set is a dealio. 4 sets coming.

I have heard FX strings tend to be a bit floppy. What say you? Will lights feel the same as other lights?

I've not found that to be the case at all, though I'm not a heavy strummer. In fact, I like the "regular" Martin strings just fine as well, but the FXs are just a wee bit easier on the fingers. They're also slightly easier to bend as well, if your tastes run that way. I'd be happy to send you a set to try out. I have 12-54 and 12.5-55 gauge. Shoot me an address offline, and the pleasure would be all mine. 8)

The great thing is once you order from Strings and Beyond, they send you email notification of these great deals they have. I got an email notice about this one. Really makes me wish I needed strings... but I'm still flush from my last order from them. They're a really good company to deal with..... :)

Here is another source for the strings. A little bit more per set, but free shipping on any quantity (if you don't want to spend the $35 minimum). :) Isn't the 6/$20 the best deal?

4 sets = $15
6 sets = $20
10 sets = $33.50
