Haha...Grace Potter does every obligatory rock-star-frontman move in every song. I saw Jackson open for Petty a few years back, and the poor guy was practically booed off the stage...Don’t know why. he played a lot of new stuff from a just released album and the crowd was unfamiliar with it. During one break between songs some guy yelled out “play running on empty and get off the stage”. He didn’t deserve that, talented musician who may be better on smaller stage now.

Always liked him, but really love his Solo Acoustic albums. Great listen. Also understand from friend of a friend who's worked with him that he's a really nice guy.

He certainly has it all - songwriting, talented guitarist and pianist, and that beautiful tenor voice.

His pal Warren Zevon (RIP) wrote this song poking fun at him for his...ahem...appeal with the ladies.

agree, he is one of my all-time favorites. I saw him in concert 12 years ago-acoustic solo tour. My fangirl worship increased beyond what I could have imagined. His albums do not do his live shows justice.

Oh I think this one does. One of the greatest albums ever made, in my estimation.

true! his rapport when live can't be captured on an album. there are some artists that blow me away live and others that do not (even when I am a big fan). Jackson's connection with the audience and performance was A+.
