Madeira A12 Japan 12 string

Hello my local music shop has it for $300 non negotiable. Comes with a gig bag and new strings. Worth it??

I have one. I own several Madeiras and this is my least favorite, but it has strong competition in the stable with an F-212, (also mahogany). That being said I've never paid that much for any of them...typically half...or much less. Some are really really solid great sounding guitars, they stay out all year as thery don't need the humidity care my good 'uns do.


For that money you can find a Sigma 12'er or any number of older MIJ 12's from the 70's-80's but if it blows you away.......

For around $50-$100 more you can get a used F-2512e which have very good reviews if you like Maple. Of course there are no used ones for sale on Reverb or GC right now. GC offers a pretty reasonable return policy, (you lose $20 shipping), if you find a used one and you're not happy with it.
