I'm looking for any help I can get. Im trying to locate a guild semi-hollow body t50 from 1960-1970 to purchase. I've tried ebay.com but I haven't found the one I wanted yet. Im looking for the model with the single coil mickey mouse pick up with no cut out. Nevertheless I'd also be interested in a t-100 or td-100. Does anyone know of any good vintage shops in southern california or online stores that could help me find one? OR, does anyone want to sell their t-50 :)?

Thanks,
John V.

Welcome to LTG, John. To help make sure you get what you have in mind, I wanted to note that both the T-100 and T-50 are true hollow body guitars, not semi-hollow.

There are semi-hollow Guild models (Starfire IV) and others that have a sound post to reduce feedback (X-170).

Pretty close to Holloween, so I understand your interest. Yuck, yuck, yuck. :)

haha, Thanks guildzilla. I actually didn't know that distinction. Thanks for the help guys.

So does the p-90 pick up sound distinctively different from the mickey mouse pickup? I played a t-50 with the mickey mouse pick up and I've been seeing a lot of t-50's with p90 pickups but I've yet to try one out... What do you guys think?
