I have a 1971 F 212 and am looking for a replacement neck. Truss rods must have their full (or close) range of adjustability.

Hello - and welcome to LTG - best place to be 😍

I have a F212CE - but unfortunately for you I'm not letting it's neck go 😂

OK - enough fun - important questions arise

- where are you located?
- what's wrong w the present neck?
- is there a neck present?

these questions might sound strange - but they are reasonable - because anything a human has built can be fixed - and if you answer those questions - this is the place where you'll get the answers and most likely solution to your problem.

And finally - pictures - we love pictures 🐾 ( and dogs, too - cats - giraffes etc - even pork roll 😂 )

The truss rods were pushing the nut up and about to burst through the fingerboard. I removed them, and replaced them with two new ones. The new ones are better, but not perfect. I've done (and do) repairs, restorations and modifications here at my shop, in Nashville. This is the first time I've swapped out truss rods. It was a fun adventure. They are persnickety. Somewhere out there is an f 212 with a trashed body and perfect neck. I'm playing the guitar now, I just would like to optimize its adjustability. Its the best I've heard. Sorry the pics of the job appear to be gone.

Welcome to LTG! I can't remember one in the last 12 years since I'm here at LTG...So this will be a tough search to be honest. It's extremely rare that a Guild neck comes up.

seen a couple necks pop up here and there. none were ever 12 strings. part of me wants to say use the force and it will come, but a bigger part of me after reading your last post says just leave the guitar as is, and get what u can out of it, just accept it for what it is. good luck with her either way
