Looking For A Looper For Live, 1 Guitar Performing

My little Ditto is dead. Truth be told I always hated the one stomp switch does all design which screwed me up many a time. I only used it a few times for gigs and it worked OK though once or twice a loop may have gotten away from me. Which is why I want one with separate switches for recording and playing.

I'm looking for simplicity. Not gonna be building Ed Sheeranesqe soundscapes. I just want to lay down a rhythm I can riff over, or maybe also sing over while playing fills.

Thoughts and suggestions?

The basic Boss RC-1 looper can be fitted with an external switch to make looping easier. I can't be bothered to use it much these days, but I found it much more intuitive than the Ditto.
