I installed the bone bridge pins this morning in Buford, love them. The higher end is mellower and the midrange is richer.
I bought them oversize (.235" at the cap) so I could fine-tune them down to a good fit. I used a emory board and patience, initial check for fit, sand, check, sand, check until string, bridge and pin became one.
I could get into being a luthier.
New tuners are next.

I put Grover super rotos on the JF30 I had. Perfect fit!

Those tuners are awesome. Grammy did so many beautiful upgrades to that JF30. One of the prettiest guitars I had the privilege of adopting.

But that TRC now belongs to Scratch!!!

The TRC is rosewood.

I meant the Tejas Maple Leaf inlayed on it
