Glad you came to your senses. I have an 81 right hand model and its awesome. They are predecessor to the D-100. Hang on to it they are rare and well made and have a great tone.

Welcome to the asylum... if you're looking for interesting lefties, here's one...
Might be some issues you need to ask about (can't tell what's up at the neck joint... is that just polish residue, or is it separating? IF the latter, I'd shy away!), and cosmetically it has it's dings/checks... but there are several of us here that will vouch for the sound of these ash D-46s... (a righty in near-museum condition sold recently for and even $1K... but I have seen them sell for less... maybe $800-1000). Added... I see now that a righty I was watching just sold for $636... that's about as low as these go for.Dave

thanks for the welcome and the link! An ash girl. Never heard one. I have a LH D-40, well played, that sings sweet songs to me. Since she keeps me company I can wait until the "right opportunity" comes. I honestly don't know what it is about the D-70 that pulls so strongly at my soul but ever since I saqw and heard someone play one I fell in love with its matched inner and outer beauty. I've got the fever... :mrgreen:
