It's also not fair watching the vid from that timestamp. If you watch the whole thing you can see that there were some obvious technical difficulties at the start, and I'm wiling to bet they weren't properly prepared for a guitarist when most everyone just sings.

Gary is right, 10-seconds into that attempted anthem, Krieger is already throwing his arms up in frustration.
Krieger may not have particularly wanted to be there, either. He just published a book a few weeks ago, Set the Night on Fire: Living, Dying, and Playing Guitar with the Doors, so some publicist/agent was probably booking him for anything they could and may not have made sure all the ducks were lined up.
And, really, you gotta love that Lizard Kings hockey jersey.
