Here. Not my cup of tea, but thought some folks here might be interested...

Mods... I put this here because I though its "uniqueness" might make it of interest to the acoustic folks on the forum. If you want to move it to Ebay/Gbase/Craigs List area, that's OK by me. D

LOVE Koa acoustics. Damn sexy guitar, but the headstock just kills it for me. Then there's the price...

I could live with the headstock, but not the price. Along with the price, while I think Koa looks good on backs, and sounds good, it turns me off(visually) on tops.

I have always thought koa to be one of the prettier woods. And they kept the sparkly stuff toned down which is just up my ally. Very nice!

That is one interesting and unusual guitar. Some very pretty koa. I wonder if that's the only one they made. Other than the peacock model, this is the only other koa Guild I've seen. Are there others?

They are the only two I've ever heard of Charlie. A beautiful guitar to be sure, but seriously.....the headstock doesn't look quite right for some reason to me.......like the humps are wrong or something. I could do without the palm tree fretmarker too. Koa is truly a beautiful wood though.

A close read says they found it in their "Vintage Vault" and it's the only one they've ever seen too.
Guitar Showcase...home of the world-famous $8995.00 50th Anniversary D50.
Wonder if they built another dipslay case for this one?
Or maybe they swap 'em out...
