In the Moust book on page 41, there are two different kinds of patterns on the back of Kolb tuners. One has a floral pattern, The earlier ones have a triangle on two opposite corners, and an elongated hexagon in the middle, with some weird pattern in the middle of the hexagon. Is it rare to find the hexagonal ones with the diamond button?

Hello Darryl,

Again I didn't check my database for this but I would say that the floral pattern is usually on the later ones. However, I do have several guitars in my personal collection that have the other pattern in combination with the 'diamond' button for instance the Bert Weedon Model that is pictured on page 97 of The Guild Guitar Book.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
