K&K Pure Mini XLR Preamp

So, I've gone ahead and bought the K&K Pure Mini for my JV-72. Also, I've bought the K&K Pure Mini XLR Preamp to use with the pickup. Anyway, this device has in addition to the in and out 1/4" plus, also an XLR. My question is can I connect a mic with its XLR cable to the K&K Pure Mini XLR Preamp and route it to the Rivera amp I have, along with the 1/4" RCA plus that will come out of the Preamp?

No. The XLR is an output from the preamp and used in situations where the preamp is providing direct input to a mixing or recording console.
